Carpenter Performing Arts Center tickets & upcoming events

Looking for a spot that’s got a little something for everyone? The Carpenter Performing Arts Center in Long Beach is honestly one of those places that just feels like a hub of creativity. It’s a venue where local artists have cut their teeth and really made a name for themselves, think vibrant exhibitions, lively theater productions, and even summer camps that actually teach kids useful skills (yes, I mean those). Before 2026, their annual gala was a big virtual bash, raising funds for all kinds of cool cultural projects, kind of a quirky, digital gathering that somehow worked. You might find yourself snagging front-row seats for classics like Little Women or splurging on VIP sections for shows like Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, which is honestly a total blast. The place is flexible too, perfect for big gatherings or intimate performances, and the interactive seating chart makes picking your spot super easy. Oh, and if you’re snapping photos during the show, the lighting and angles are pretty darn good for capturing those memories. Located in a lively part of Long Beach, it's easy to get to and even easier to enjoy. Just a tip, if you’re rolling in a group, pick a rendezvous spot near the entrance so no one gets lost.
